Four things determine how many images your request needs — and therefore your quote.
A single recent snapshot needs a few images. Ten years of weekly history means processing every usable scene across that decade — hundreds or thousands of images.
Sentinel-2 photographs each location roughly every 5 days; MODIS is daily. The more frequently the satellite passes over, the more images exist for your date range.
Fifty farms in one valley may fit in a single scene per date. Fifty sites across three continents need separate imagery for each region — the image count multiplies.
Each variable can come from a different satellite. NDVI plus rainfall plus air quality means processing three independent image streams instead of one.
